About Relikka
A little bit about the person behind the paintbrush, and the promises I make to every family I work with.

My Story
From doodles to a business full of colour
Hi, I'm Relikka! I've always been the person with paint on their fingers. As a child I filled sketchbooks with butterflies and dragons, and years later I picked up a face painting brush at a friend's birthday party and never looked back.
Seeing a nervous little face light up in the mirror is the best feeling in the world. That moment is why I started Relikka: to bring a bit of magic to children's celebrations, while giving parents complete confidence in safety and hygiene.
Today I paint at birthday parties, school fairs, nurseries, festivals and corporate family days right across Greater Manchester. I'm still learning new techniques every year, and I still get just as excited about every booking.

Safety & Hygiene
My safety and hygiene promise
Little faces deserve the very best care. Here's what happens at every single booking.
EN71-compliant paints
I only use professional, cosmetic-grade face paints and glitters that meet EN71 toy safety standards and EU/UK cosmetic regulations. They wash off easily with soap and water.
Allergy patch tests
If your child has sensitive skin, eczema or allergies, I'm happy to do a small patch test on the arm first. Full ingredient lists are available for any product.
Fresh sponge for every child
Every child gets a clean sponge, which is never reused on another face during an event. Sponges are washed and sanitised thoroughly afterwards.
Clean brushes, always
Brushes are rinsed between every child and cleaned with professional brush cleaner, and my water is changed regularly throughout the day.
Healthy skin only
I never paint over cuts, rashes, cold sores or broken skin, and I'll gently suggest an arm or hand design instead if needed.
Kind and gentle approach
Children are always asked before I paint, never pressured. Little ones can sit on a grown-up's knee, and a hand design is always an option.
